Blocking (DNR) a HERO

Overview

In this article, we’ll teach you how to block (DNR) Heroes and where to see historical information.

 

Block a HERO From Returning

To block a HERO on the web and mobile application, follow these steps:

1. Go to a HERO profile

2. Tap/click the toggle button Don’t Let HERO Apply to Any More Shifts at My Community

 

Heroes can be unblocked by toggling the option to OFF. In addition, Heroes will not be notified that they have been blocked.

 

Selecting a Reason for DNR

KARE actively tracks DNR reasons to help improve coaching opportunities while simultaneously identifying important trends to improve HERO performance. Those reasons include:

  • Attendance – No Show  
  • Attendance – Multiple Cancellations 
  • Documentation Requirements Not Met  
  • Community Policy – Non Compliant 
  • Previously Employed – Do Not Rehire List 
  • Performance Standards Not Met  
  • HERO was Hired 
  • Other – Not Eligible for Return

 

When blocking a HERO on both the web or mobile applications, you will be prompted to specify why :

View History

Single community users and multiple-community enterprise users can view DNR history on the web application by following these steps:

1. Go to a HERO profile

2. Select the Blocked History tab

 

On the Blocked History tab you can filter times and reasons. In addition, you can see which community and user had blocked the HERO.
