Overview
Beta testing can be an exciting opportunity to try out new features or enhancements in an app. However, beta versions can also have bugs. While these can be frustrating, you have the ability to switch back to the current Heroes app version at any time.
This guide will walk you through the steps to add and remove your beta version of KARE Heroes on both Apple and Android phones. In order to participate in the beta version, you must have a public beta link.

Join the beta version on Apple
To download the beta version on Apple, you must have an app called TestFlight installed.
Once you have installed TestFlight, make sure you have your public link to the KARE Heroes beta app available. To download KARE Heroes 2.0 beta:
1. Open this beta invite link
2. The link should redirect you to KARE Heroes in TestFlight
3. Tap Install
4. If you already have the old version of KARE Heroes downloaded, you’ll need to confirm installation of the new version.
Remove beta on Apple and re-install older version
If you wish to reinstall the older version of KARE Heroes, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Apple Store
2. Find KARE Heroes
3. Tap the download button
By installing the older version, you will remove the TestFlight version.

Want to try new features before everyone else? Here’s how to join a beta program on the Google Play Store:
1. Find the App’s Beta Program
- Open the Google Play Store on your device
- Search for the app you want to beta test
- Scroll down to the “Join the Beta” section (if available)
- You can also join through this beta invite link
- Tap “Join” or “Become a Beta Tester”
- Confirm by tapping “Join” again
- You’re now enrolled!
- If you already have the app, update it to get the beta version
- If not, install it fresh from the Play Store
Remove beta on Android and re-install older version
Tired of beta bugs? Here’s how to switch back to the stable version:
1. Open the App’s Play Store Page
• Go to the Google Play Store
• Find the beta app you want to leave (search or check your installed apps)
2. Leave the Beta Program
• Scroll down to the “You’re a beta tester” section
• Tap “Leave” (may say “Leave beta program”)
• Confirm your choice
3. Get the Stable Version
• Uninstall the beta app first (important!)
• Reinstall the app normally from the Play Store
Once you leave, it may take a few minutes to remove you from the beta program. Refresh your search for KARE Heroes to see that the version on the app store doesn’t contain the (Beta) part. This will be the previous version.
